Coral is a fresh, talented 23 year-old British singer/songwriter, songstress on the scene, born in Blackburn Lancashire, and is now splitting her time in equal measure between the Isle of Man and London.
Coral’s passion to sing became evident by the age of 2, when her first Christmas gift request from Santa was for a microphone! All Coral has ever wanted from life is to be able to perform.
Through her teen years Coral developed as a songwriter and singer, drawing her early influences from the likes of Celine Dion, Coldplay and The Killers, and more latterly Gabrielle Aplin, Snow Patrol, Adele, Emile Sande, Lorde and Birdy.
Coral had vocal training in London with David and Lisa Laudat and has worked with several notable songwriters / producers including Dee Adam and Tobey Jepson. Katie Melua and James Toseland have also been extremely encouraging in Coral's progress, providing guidance and a sounding board for Coral's music
Coral is currently working with ILana Lorraine, Creative Director of The Coach House Retreat & founder of Sessions58 as well as the internationally renowned artist manager Meredith Cork and Olly Andrews from YellowBrick Music.
Coral has steadily developed her artistry, performance, and songwriting skills whilst working with Ilana her team – which includes Leon King, Sophie Delila and Dale Davis (Music Director for Amy Winehouse and now Emeli Sandé).
Coral now regularly performs in and around London, most recently at Shoreditch House. We are currently putting together a mini tour to promote her forthcoming single.
A very special talent on the rise – Coral's amazing vocal range coupled with her considered lyrics, seems to exemplify the youthful hope of a generation; her songs deliver stories of love, faith, resilience, ambition and struggle - all of which are a genuine reflection of Coral’s life experiences to date, and that authenticity is just captivating.
